This is a good tv; but my mistake was thinking the full array was adjustable. It is not and stays on; thus some write up was wrong while making my decision. This will be a new standard; but there are many cheaper sets with good quality. The service seems real nice. The tuner is painfully slow while changing channels; perhaps the slowest I have seen (taking several seconds). The picture is very dark and makes dark areas unviewable. At 1100.00 this tv might be a couple hundred over valued when shopping around for deals and various models.

This tv has many setting and rather up to date. Should be able to brighten things up and adjust picture with all the controls making it a rather nice picture. Time will tell; but with energy going thru the roof in the near future… this may be a great buy. It is a newer technology; recommend getting the warranty advantage which has sweet service. Was going to buy from newegg and waited for stocking about a month… then they discontinued; not a good sign in retrospect. Hope this helps!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2KM3G0IUGXTDH I previously owned the xbr4 and 6 and,sad to say this tv is my favorite. You may not agree with it because of its presets(default picture settings),but with pro calibration and a dice of your own,you will be impressed. Some and many even pros say the 120hrt isnt present, but the thing is it is.I spent time calibrating my set for best picture possible and finding differences between motionflow and motion enhanced.Motionflow has a more lively on set feel with very obvious artifacts when high but, this is why Sharp has pulled me in.Motion enhanced creates the lively blend, you see if you have 20/20 vision like myself you will notice the effect to dramatically make you feel onset but also watching a movie, pure greatness.Im rating 24p 48/50 movies and 60p 100/120 games based on my gtx 280 and blu ray Playback,so imagine the effects of pure video plus nvidia control panal settings of 100% sharpness and 100% noise reduction with cuda. The tv may fall short if you only watch dtv but hdtv also shines.I also had heat issues before with my xbr brands, but this set barely pumps heat and is very light;no 1 eco friendly set in the world.Im planning on buying another set.Believe me the price is a steal, cant wait to play god of war 3 bottom line this is a must buy for hardcore gamers and day to day movie watchers 5 star general.

This TV set is truly marvelous. The picture is accurate and sharp and the digital/analog tuner is superb. I have my set hooked to a Dishnetwork DVR receiver using the supervideo cable and a twenty-four year old Carver Magnetic Field receiver. It is practically the same as being in a movie theater where I control the picture and the sound. Instead of popcorn we have caviar, fine cheddar and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Sharp LED system gives results superior to sets costing $10,000.00 USD ten years ago. Good things come to those who wait. This TV schmecks.

Tomorrow I will buy a high quality HDMI cable to connect to my Sony DVD/CD player. I better not show this to my neighbor across the street. He paid $12,000.00 for his plasma TV 8 years ago. My set weighs 30 pounds and eats 90 watts and his weighs 200 pounds and eats 500 watts. Life is not fair…..ha,ha,ha!

This HDTV is awesome. Power consumption on this tv is very good. So good that it runs on my APC 500VA UPS. Amazing. Gaming is excellent on this tv and it’s always amazingly cool.
